When staying at the Radisson, if you are booking a room for the view, you will want to book at least a partial oceanview, if not deluxe oceanview.
Worried about overlooking a parking lot? The only rooms I can think of which overlook the parking lot would be the upper floors of the Curacao Building, furthest from the ocean, mainly on the south side. Actually the Riu's parking and building. They would also have a view of the ocean. Either way you would still have a partial oceanview.
There are also rooms in the Aruba tower on the north side which are partial oceanview, not the ocean/poolside, which if you look down, will have a roof below them , but if you look "out" you will also see the ocean.Another partial oceanview on the same side (north) of the Aruba tower our view with a newer camera.
If you looked down you saw some "stuff", but look out, and you have that gorgeous view.
The Radisson rooms have one king or two doubles. Our last room was a partial oceanview in the Aruba tower with two double beds and it was perfect.
Ask your travel agent, but if I am not mistaken, I think more common gardenviews are the lower rooms of the Bonaire Tower and Curacao Tower. I can think of worse things to look at if you would rather have the $$$$ in your pocket.
With that said, the money you save by staying with the standard or gardenview room can be well spent towards a lot of wonderful excursions and such. A gardenview may be a good compromise to avoid all roof tops. Only problem with this is that I "think" there are quite a few of these rooms in the Bonaire Tower. Folks dislike the Bonaire Tower because the rooms are the smallest. We like the Bonaire Tower for ease of access to everything. Some folks dislike the Curacao Tower because it is a little further back from the beach and further from the lobby.
Have to have the biggest and the best? The only "larger" rooms with a sofa bed are the suites, Bonaire Suite being the least expensive suite with a separate bedroom with king size bed and full living room with queen size sleep sofa. Curacao and Aruba Suites are larger, with the Aruba suite being the largest.
