Renovated Areas - Coming 2016

Our renovated Aruba hotel will welcome guests with an entirely new look inspired by the property’s rich history, combined with a modern beach esthetic. The new design will honor the resort’s original architect, Morris Lapidus. His work brought sweeping gestures to traditional architecture and audacious opulence to the world of resort design. The very essence of the Aruban beach, with its vast sands and signature breeze, will extend through our resort with furniture, materials and textures for a truly unique Caribbean vacation.

Whether you're new to Hilton Aruba or one of our many loyal guests, we look forward to welcoming you with our renovated facilities, world-class culinary offerings and genuine Aruban hospitality.

Thinking About An All Inclusive Package in Aruba?

Aruba Bound

For high season, the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa has just come out with a new 2014 Bed+Breakfast+Lunch Winter Escape starting at $645 a night, double occupancy for a guest room accommodation.

I compared prices of the above for dates in April with the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resorts all inclusive package which includes not only breakfast and lunch, but dinner and all beverages, including unlimited house-brand and premium beverages and cocktails.

2 people per room per night
Amsterdam Manor Standard Studio All Inclusive $639
Radisson Breakfast & Lunch Package (NO drinks, NO dinners) $645

We just completed an all inclusive stay at the Amsterdam Manor (trip report to follow) and the Amsterdam Manor's all inclusive left you wanting for nothing.

Laguna Restaurant at the Radisson Aruba

From our June 2011 trip report...
Laguna Prime Rib Buffet at the Radisson
The buffet at the Radisson was such a good value at *$23.95 per person plus 15% service charge we ate there twice. With our beverage credit included with our package through booking with MCM Tours, we were also able to enjoy wine with our dinner without running up an expensive tab. The beverages were added to our check that evening but deducted as a credit at check out.

Radisson Aruba vs. the Tamarijn All Inclusive

The Radisson is non-all inclusive & the Tamarijn is all inclusive

If you are big drinkers
  • Radisson drinks are $$$
  • Tamarijn drinks are "free" (top shelf liquor is at least included in what you already paid)

If you are big eaters
  • Radisson make sure the breakfast buffet is part of your package and be prepared for $50/couple lunches on site at Gilligan's (figure 2 sandwiches & 2 beverages)
  • Tamarijn all food and snacks are included at a choice of 8 dining options & 7 bars at either the Tamarijn or neighboring sister resort the Divi (all amenities are shared between the 2 resorts)

Aruba Hyatt vs. the Radisson vs. the Westin

Dh and I have stayed at the Hyatt once. Very nice resort, top notch as a matter of fact. Beautiful swimming pool with waterslide and swim up bar (if that is a deal maker or breaker for you).

Downside is the beach can get crowded and the rooms have only step out balconies, unless you go for the very big bucks and book an oceanfront suite.

In recent years, we have also stayed at the Radisson four times and the Westin when it was still the Wyndham, three times. The rooms at the Westin have all been renovated since we stayed there.

The free form pool is not as modern as those at the Hyatt or Radisson, but as of this writing, is scheduled for renovation in the upcoming month. The beach at the Westin is admittedly windier than that of the Radisson and Hyatt. With that said, if we could not afford the Radisson, and the Westin were cheaper, we would definitely stay at the Westin.
