In reading some recent reviews on a travel website, I have come to the following conclusion. Trip reviews are just that, one persons perception of a resort or a destination. Always do your own research and ask a lot of questions.

ART Exhibition ‘Destinations’ – by Local Artist Grace Ashruf

ORANJESTAD - Grace Ashruf is very proud to exhibit her latest collection of original Art titled 'Destinations' on Wednesday, October 26th. The exposition will take place in the OLD Garage Cordia Building, at L.G. Smith Blvd. 114 and continue for two weeks.

This collection of 30 original artworks is a fusion of Contemporary Art and names of Aruban Neighborhoods. The works not only reflect the names of popular places on the island, but also many of the ancient aboriginal names given them by the native Indians. Much of the true significance of these names and their origins remain unknown.

La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club Celebrates 20 Years with Completion of US$36 Million Renovations

La Cabana Beach and Racquet Club is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year with the completion of a three-year, US$36 million room renovation project that re-establishes the resort as one of the premier timeshare facilities in the Caribbean.

Local dignitaries and tourism professionals will join in the celebrations at La Cabana on Sept. 20 in the newly completed hotel lobby.

“Once called the resort ‘where dreams come true’ La Cabana has resurfaced with a bold new look and feel from the front lobby to the interior of every room,” said Willie Mosconi, president of the Board of Directors.
